Speaking of traffic, G thought we could take the increased visibility as an opportunity to warn people about the approaching singularity event but, after some consideration, we decided it would alarm everyone too much, so we're just going to let people sort that shit out for themselves, as usual. ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS: Well, it seems like the fun part of staging a revolution is now offficially over. Shadow has been arrested out of his home here in London, Ontario. After the big announcement he was carted away to a secure facility in his boxer shorts. If you haven't seen the video that led to his arrest, please find it [l]here[/l] Our website has been temporarily spared, but we've been told by the authorities that it may be taken down soon for public safety reasons. The contents of the forum have already been deemed classified evidence and removed from the web, along with all of Shadow's writing. But that doesn't mean we have to be silent. So we're going to post backup copies of his work here as quickly as possible and we're starting the forums all over again. It's unclear how much longer we will be allowed to share our version of Shadow's story over the internet. So before we lose the ability to spread the word, you should read our account of the events so far which we have posted here. Or buy it here: The story was penned by an english major named Shane Carter, a regular here on the forums. He has generously agreed to release all funds from the book sales to support Shadow's legal fees, assuming he is granted a fair trial. While we'd appreciate financial assistance, it would be more helpful to spread the word as much as possible. Even if you just read the story of how we got to this point, it would probably help a lot. If you tell one friend to read it too, then you'll have done Shadow, and all of us, an immeasurable favour. The more people who know the truth the better. But the bottom line is, if you buy a copy of the book, we may actually be able to rally a team of lawyers capable of defending Shadow using the funds we accumulate. If no one supports his cause now, it's practically guaranteed you'll never read about Shadow's victory, since it flat out won't happen. Our friend has been charged with terrorism, conspiracy and the production of a controlled substance. He is guilty of none of these things. Please read the story, and write to your local government. The prisoner known as Shadow has a right to a fair trial.
